Pierre Yergeau

Yergo was born in a mining village in northern Quebec, in Abitibi. He has a master’s degree in comparative literature. He was a finalist for the Governor General’s Awards for La Cité des Vents, La Désertion and Tu attends la neige, Léonard? and received the Signet d’Or award from Télé-Québec and the Ringuet award. He received a special mention from the Organisation internationale de la francophonie for his book La Cité des Vents. He has lived in England and British Columbia and currently lives with his dog and cat in the Laurentides.
