Aurélien Delsaux

Aurélien Delsaux was born in 1981 in France. Writer, actor and director of L’Arbre theatre company, he co-founded Les Monstres collective with Sophie Divry in 2020. His first novel, Madame Diogène (Albin Michel, 2014), which attracted critical acclaim, won the ‘Plume d’or’ prize at the Chapiteau du livre book fair in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire and the readers’ prize from the ‘L’Esprit large’ bookshop. His second novel, Sangliers (Albin Michel, 2017), was awarded the 2017 ‘Prix Révélation’ by the Société des gens de lettres. His third novel, Pour Luky (Notabilia, 2020), is a finalist for the Ouest-France Étonnants voyageurs Prize, the Ile-de-France High School Students’ Literary Prize and the Eugène Dabit Prize for populist fiction. His fourth novel, Requiem pour la classe moyenne, is published by Notabilia in January 2023.
