Sophie Divry’s latest essay published in Italy

Date: 26/05/2022

Cinq mains coupées (Seuil, 2021) was released in Italy on April 13 by Luca Sossela editore, translated by Giorgia Tolfo. In this essay, Sophie Divry pur together in a single chorus the words of five demonstrators mutilated by the police during the yellow vest movement. Their stories, similar and distinct, paint a portrait of a troubled France. Foreign rights available.

Last week, the author of La condition pavillonnaire spoke at La Comédie du livre, in Montpellier, alongside Arno Bertina on the topic How can literature account for social struggles?
