Date: 28/05/2024
Blending travelogue and guide, Giosuè Calaciura shares his love for Pantelleria, an overlooked island nestled off the coast of Sicily, poised between Europe and Africa. Through a myriad of authentic anecdotes, he paints a vivid portrait of the island.

Since 2007, the Prix Nicolas Bouvier has honored authors of narratives, novels, and short stories whose style is inspired by a yearning for the unknown, a quest to encounter the world. Among its laureates are Kapka Kassabova, François-Henri Désérable, and Andrzej Stasiuk.

“Pantelleria” came out in French in May 2023, published by Notabilia.
