Fatima Daas’ first novel is now translated into nine languages. Latest publications this month in Denmark by Grif, translated by Sofie Vestergaard Jørgensen, and in Brazil by Bazar do Tempo. The writer also continues her promotional tour. After Germany, she traveled to New York, where she spoke at the Pen World Voices Festival alongside the American author Tanaïs. She also gave a talk the Albertine bookstore and took part in The night of Ideas organized by Villa Albertine alongside writer Leïla Slimani, professor Mame-Fatou Niang and historian Nicolas Delalande. Actress (The secret of the grain, Mektoub my love…) and director (Tu mérites un amour, Bonne mère) Hafsia Herzi, will adapt La petite dernière for the cinema. The shooting of the feature film, produced by June Films, will start in the second quarter of 2023.
